The Hog-A-Licious team of Kenneth & Stephanie Biesterveld, Cory & Becca Fox, and Jamie Cooper hopes to taste sweet success at this year's Bon Appetit event. Their plan to do that includes serving the oh-so-delectible-sounding Salted Caramel Cupcakes. Plus, they promise to tempt your sweet tooth further by serving a "special treat" that is described as being "a delectable explosion of pure heaven." Curious? We are too!
The team's main recipe is sprinkled with tempting ingredients like Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract, butter, and heavy whipping cream. YUM. How can that combination not be good? But don't listen to us. The team sums it up best with their own description: This incredible dish includes made-from-scratch golden yellow cake mix, a fabulous whipped butter cream topping and a to-die-for homemade salted caramel sauce. Taste it and let the delightfulness ensue!
Taste it we shall!
As if their dish wasn't sweet enough, just take a look at the adorable couple heading up the team.

The Walton College Alumni Society is cooking up plans for the fourth annual Bon Appetit event, which will showcase the hidden talents of our alumni and provide support for the Molly Rapert Walton College Alumni Society Scholarship. This is not your typical business networking reception! We have scouted out the Walton College’s finest foodies in Northwest Arkansas to compete for top-chef status and will be donating a portion of ticket sales to this scholarship. So rather than sitting at home and watching celebrity chefs and food competitions on television, come out to enjoy an evening with fellow graduates. A ticket to the event will guarantee an evening of good food, drinks, networking opportunities and, best of all, support for a good cause.
Here's how it works. Our celebrity caterers will dust off their famous family recipes, slave over their stoves, and make your mouths water with their delectable treats. All you have to do is come to the event, eat, drink, and vote on your favorite. Your admission to the event will grant you (5) tokens to use for voting. If five tokens just isn’t enough to express your epicurean preferences, you may purchase more at the event. You’ll feel good about all those extra votes since all of the proceeds will directly benefit the scholarship fund (and are tax deductible)!
A registration link will be available in the coming weeks. In the meantime, email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in attending.
Check back here over the new few weeks to sneak a peek at the competition and learn more about our alumni participants.
