Celebrity Caterer Spotlight: First Security Team

Jake Earney (BSBA ’10) has teamed up with First Security Bank colleagues, John Morris (BSBA ’01) and Tyler Angel (BSBA ’08), and hopes to steam roll their competition this Thursday night at the Walton College Bon Appetit event with his famous Razorback Rolls.

If you've been a follower of Bon Appetit over the years, you may have noticed a First Security trend among our "celebrity caterers" and hosts. Last fall's event was hosted by Jake's teammate, John Morris, and featured the sTEAL CHEFs team comprised of First Security's very own David Russell and Alex Burris. David had so much fun at the event, that he and his wife have graciously offered to host this fall's event in their home.

This past summer in Central Arkansas, delicious pulled smoke pork sliders were served up by the Crews'in through Finance team made up of Nathan Rutledge and his colleague, Cam Deacon. Starting the trend at the inaugural Bon Appetit event in 2009, Adam Rutledge, also of First Security Bank, pleased guests with baby back ribs most likely cooked on a teal grill. We also see a pork trend here among our banker friends and so far they have yet to disappoint.

But don't take our word for it; come out and judge for yourself.  Every vote counts as a direct contribution to the Walton College Alumni Society scholarship.
